In Korea, I usually surfed in Busan and Pohang. In particular, the waves in Pohang break quickly, and I never knew the right timing for takeoff, so I often nose-dived and had trouble riding alone (I’d paddle, catch the wave, but still wondered, "When should I stand up?!").
